HACKED BY BLINK HACKER GROUP
Newsreaders still feel it is worth a special and rather worrying mention if, for instance, a crime was planned by people 'over the Internet'.
They don't bother to mention when criminals use the telephone or the Media, or discuss their dastardly plans over a cup of tea.

what is your webmaster doing now?
This cartoon brings a smile on my face early in the morning. However, why are Irrawaddy's hands up in the air? Come on, I am sure Irrawaddy can find ways to dodge the attacks even if not counter-attack.
Afterall, Ko Aung Zaw just said that "Ultimately, the flow of information is unstoppable". Irrawaddy, that is providing such "flow of information" is also unstoppable. This blog is the simple testimony of that fact.
It only serves to show that freedom of speech cannot be taken away by those that know nothing better than to oppress and intimidate the people using force and violence.
The beginning of their end is not far off.
Why can't we counter-attack the junta's website. I'm sure there are thousands of IT experts living in abroad and could make it happen, if they wish to.
people in perth australia recently supported the burmese people, listen to what a local politician had to say: http://www.veoh.com/videos/v15370419j3deZbcM
keep the powder dry.. their time will come
@Junta and dogs,
cyberattack instead political dialog?
again shows Junta,s real face
we fight we win
Similar to using force against the peaceful, metta suttra-chanting monks, the junta has no better idea than to hack the free media. When will they learn that this kind of behaviour will never result in victory for them, and just stiffen the spines of those working for dissemination of real news about our country? The generals may think they've scored a hit with this virus attack, but in the long run, this hacking shows their desperate attempt to gag the mouths of people even outside Burma, and will never succeed.
IT Burmese experts in foreign countries must all come together now to counter attack the military internet network. Now is the time to take action.
The days of power coming from the barrel of a gun is over; power now comes through the tubes...wake up Than shwe.
Give Them Back Their Coin.
Cyber offensive on exile media is not an unexpected action. Brutal censorship on local media is of the same kind. Since the juncta is at war with its own people, either inside or outside, they have the power to do what they wish, justified or not.
There is an old saying " there is no just and fair in love and war" though it does not mean right or wrong. Since the juncta is also using e-government system it will be a fatal blow to its administrative structure, civil and military,if the opposition groups in exile also come up with cyber warfare as counter-offensive.
God save the generals -
